America's Unclaimed History

America's Unclaimed History In-Person

A documentary film series exploring cringe-worthy moments in American history.  Learn about our past and take a look at decisions facing us today. Will our collective conscience be clear in the future?  (First Friday each month all year - different topics every month.)

This month: The Color of Honor The Japanese American Soldier in WWII 90 minutes

A documentary on the responses of Japanese Americans to World War II -- from enlisting in a much-decorated unit for combat in Europe, to serving as military interrogators, and for some, refusing to serve in the armed forces and challenging the constitutionality of the forced internment of their families.  WInner: CINE Golden Eagle Award
